Thị trường dầu ăn Việt Nam dự kiến sẽ chứng kiến sự tăng trưởng ổn định trong những năm tới, tạo ra mức tăng trưởng doanh thu hàng năm ~1 tỷ USD, với người tiêu dùng cao cấp có kế hoạch mua nhiều hơn sản phẩm cao cấp. Thị trường có tổng cộng 40 công ty với các công ty chủ chốt là Tường An, Vocaremix, Kido Nhà Bè, Calofic và các công ty khác. Phần lớn thị trường do Kido’s & Vocarimex chi phối.

Sản phẩm độc quyền: Toàn bộ thị trường dầu ăn ở Việt Nam hiện đang tăng trưởng 8% với dầu cọ thống trị ngành chiếm tới 70% thị phần. Ở dạng rắn ở nhiệt độ phòng, dầu cọ có lợi thế cạnh tranh so với dầu thực vật ‘mềm’ cạnh tranh như dầu đậu nành, hướng dương và hạt cải dầu vì nó có thể dễ dàng được sử dụng cho các ứng dụng thực phẩm bán rắn và rắn.
